Build Capacity

Next to building the network, CIOSA's most important goal is to build the capacities of NGOs in the administrative, financial, technical, programme and public interface areas of their work to help them deliver better results in their work.

CIOSA has partnered with organisations like CSIM, Life Academy and Samanvaya that deliver high quality training. We have offered quality training programmes for our members over the last few years. Some of the workshops offered are free, while for others the members have to pay a very nominal fee.

Assessing training needs

The Centre for Social Initiative & Management (CSIM), on behalf of CIOSA, carried out a training needs assessment amongst the NGO members. Based on the study, a wide range of training needs were identified for CIOSA members.

Apart from these workshops, Life Academy offers a programme every Saturday. This is attended by a few of our members. CSIM also offers a lot of training programmes free for our members. We have not collected a list of the members who have attended these programs as it is optional for the members to attend.
